TM Supply is a local home center that has been in business for over 65 years! We pride ourselves on being family owned and serving our community through quality work and honest business. We attribute our longevity to customer service and satisfaction. TM Supply offers a wide variety of products from the industries top manufacturers. Our Story
Every Saturday since I was 13 years old, I climbed into the car with my dad and went to work at Koury’s Incorporated. My job consisted of sweeping floors, loading trucks, and helping with deliveries. I was paid $2 an hour and lunch from Abe’s Hot Dogs.
I began working every day after school and picked up hours around my school activities. This continued through college too. As I grew older, my responsibilities grew. By the time I graduated from Wilkes College, I was managing the business. Then I was given an opportunity to purchase the company that I had worked for since I was 13 years old.
Koury’s Incorporated was founded in 1957, in Wilkes-Barre by Maurice Koury, who was my mentor. He was like a second father to me, and taught me more in business than any classroom ever could. There is an old Japanese Proverb “Better than a thousand days of diligent study, is one day with a great teacher.” Maurice Koury was that teacher to me.
In 1989, I purchased Koury’s Incorporated and changed the name to Koury’s Home Center. We continued to supply both home owners and professional contractors with top quality building supplies. “Big is not always best. We are big enough to buy right, yet small enough to call our customers by their first names. You are not just a number when you walk into our store,” that was my dad’s favorite saying, and it still applies today.
In 2000, Koury’s Home Center outgrew its location, so we moved to our current location in Luzerne and changed the name to TM Supply. We now have a huge showroom with plenty of parking, while we still stick by our values of quality work, honest business, and fair prices.
65 years has brought many changes to the building industry. We now offer professional installation of all our products sold. There are countless options for doors, windows, interior, and exterior products to choose from, and our staff is always here to walk you through the options.
Even after our growth and move, TM Supply is still a proud family-owned business that strives for quality, integrity, and excellent customer service. Those values are passed on from generation to generation. Now my son Tony Jr. is on staff and continues to uphold these values as he helps manage the store!
